Exodus chapter 29 summary began with the instructions for ordaining the priest who ministered before God. These priests had to be holy, thus the ordination process had to be followed and done exactly.
First, a bullock and two rams without any blemish were taken, with unleavened bread and brought before Aaron and his sons to the tabernacle door. Aaron and his sons had to wash with water.
They had to clean up before adorning themselves with the holy priestly garments. They next took the bullock and killed it before God by the door of the tabernacle. After this, they took the flesh of the bullock and burn it outside of the camp for a sin offering.

Seven days they are to make an atonement for the altar and sanctify the altar. They did this with two lambs, one in the morning the other in the evening. This was done throughout their generations for God to dwell with them, as well as for them to know God dwelled among them.
