Everyone, or at least nearly everyone has a form of godliness. I deduct this from the simple phrase, “God made man in His own image.”

In Second Timothy chapter 3, Paul first writes about perilous times coming at the end. This is where Paul goes into what men will be, lovers of their own selves, and a long list of “me” personalities and evil stuff.

- Covetous
- Boasters
- Proud
- Blasphemers
- Disobedient to parents
- Unthankful

- Without natural affection
- High-minded
- Lovers of pleasure (more than lovers of God)

II Timothy 3
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
These people have a form of godliness but are denying the power of God and the power of His Word, and turn many away; they are always learning, but are never able to learn and do the knowledge of truth.
Having a Form of Godliness
They study much, but can’t explain the significance of Jesus dying and being in the grave for three days and three nights. I’m not here to insult or bash, and I apologize if I have. This scripture from Brother Paul speaks volumes. I pray it admonishes us all, and that we continue to walk in the truth of our God, and Lord JESUS Christ.
Peace and blessings
