To You It Shall Be for Meat: Seven Verse

Genesis 1:29-31 King James Version (KJV)

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 2:1-4 King James Version (KJV)

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

What the seven are saying:

The Almighty said to Adam and the creation that they have been given by Him, every herb with seed in it all throughout the earth. They have been given every tree with its fruit that will yield the seed; all of it will be for consumption for man and the beasts.

The Almighty Creator saw everything He created and it was very good. All work was completed by the end of the sixth day. Therefore, the heavens and the earth were completed and all the hosts within them. Then on the seventh day, God ended His work and rested.

The Almighty rested on the seventh day from all of His labor and blessed the seventh day, as well as setting it apart from the other days. It was set apart simply because He rested from all His work. Finally, the Almighty signed of, “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created.”

The earth has hosted who knows how many generations of species, beings, and dominions; yet the Almighty tells us of this current one, these are the generations of the heavens and the earth. Seven verses!
