THE LORD CHOSE ABRAM THE HEBREW

Following this storyline, we have the division of the nations for their REBELLION at the tower of Babel following the wicked Nimrod. The ALMIGHTY divided the languages and sent families away according to their language.

What people don’t realize is that each of these families continued to follow a fallen prince (a mighty one or a god (we’ll show you this in another video or lesson we have of the Creation)). This was directed by the ALMIGHTY.

In this, the LORD chose out a man named Abram whom the ALMIGHTY would use to become grow His own personal nation.

Get Thee Out of Thy Country

1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

THE HEBREW OF MESOPOTAMIA/SYRIA UR/SUMER

The Lord said to Abram, “Leave your country and your people. Leave your father’s family and go to the country that I will show you. I will build a great nation from you. I will bless you and make your name famous. You will be a blessing to many people.

I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. I will use you, Abram, to bless all the people of the earth. So Abram left Haran just like the Lord said, and Lot went with him. Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran.

He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the slaves, and all the other things he had gotten in Haran. Then he and his group moved to the land of Canaan. Abram is now separated from all the nations on the earth.

Separating Abram

He is distinct from the gentiles/nations found in Genesis chapter 10; the ALMIGHTY will establish Himself as the GOD of all gods. And His people, His nation will be the People (nations) of all peoples (nations), and this is the sole reason for separating Abram.

When we are able to make this connection, the scriptures make more sense at the end. Stay tuned!

I thought Abraham was a gentile when he was chosen born to gentile parents and became a Hebrew by God’s choosing.

    • Greetings Linda, Abraham is from the family line of Shem, even by Eber. Eber is the one who is credited as being a Hebrew (Ebrew); this is what made Abraham a Hebrew also, as one who crossed over. A good portion of the seed of Shem came crossed over, spiritually from the gods of the nations (gentiles), and physically, from Mesopotamia to the land of Canaan. He was indeed a Hebrew, which makes all of his descendants Hebrews also.
