Thy King Cometh
Hi there and welcome,
There are a couple of prophets from the Bible who have a sequential message that should be taken with considerable mindfulness. Their message is as golden a message for our generation, and for our necessary understanding. The first prophet we’re speaking of is Zechariah (Zacharayah).
Zechariah writes and proclaims to us that Israel’s King is indeed coming. He addressed his writings specifically to the house of Jacob; declaring to them, their King is on the way.
To describe it further, Israel’s King is a just and righteous King. Their King has something no other king had or has, salvation. Still, in all of this, Israel’s King is full of humility, respectful, yet is ready and in full condition for battle (in case enemies have alternative ideas).
Peace to the Nations
The King of Jacob will speak peace to the nations, but once (note; not if, but once) they ignore His call for peace, He will brandish His sword for violence. It was written in a song by Moses, Miriam, and the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt that the Lord is ready for war.
“The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation:” … “the Lord is a man of war: the Lord is His name (Exodus 15:1,3).” Israel’s King is ready for what the nations have to offer, good or bad.
When the smoke clears, Israel’s King will have dominion, as Sovereign Crown, from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth (Zechariah 9:9-10). The King is coming, children of Israel, Thy King Cometh!
And this is exciting!
The next prophet is Malachi, and we’ll see what he has to say regarding the King of Israel.
