The abomination of desolation bible study is a topic in the scripture that is hardly discussed and studied. The reason for this is because pastors rarely bring it up in Bible studies or church Sunday teaching.
We learn about the abomination of desolation in Matthew’s chapter 24. This is where Jesus gives one of the biggest warnings in the Bible regarding prophecy to the people living during that time. The study in the video was conducted years ago, 2013 to be exact.
Our knowledge has increased in the matter and we hope to reflect that in the remainder of this article. The previous guard was that the abomination of desolation represented the Bishop of Rome.
More specifically, this would be a time when the Pope (or Bishop) of Rome relocates the headquarters. He will change the headquarters of the Vatican and Catholic Church. They would leave Rome and make the new headquarters in Jerusalem.
Animal Sacrifice, One-World Gov, and Third Temple
This would be their attempt to act as the Messiah orchestrating their theological rule from the biblical headquarters of the world, Jerusalem. The way this would take place is by worldly conventions and secular treaties.
A one-world government would be necessary, and the Jewish state would begin animal sacrifices in their land. They will do this after gaining permission to build the third temple next to the temple mount of the Muslims currently there.
As they begin the animal sacrificial laws of the past, the Vatican would stop the animal sacrifice and the militaries of the world would place the Pope and his officials in the temple and he would be seen as GOD.
This would obviously be a great deception for the masses of people.
He would official complete rule and conduct miracles to gain the confidence of the people until his end. This is how this topic was taught to us (BSM) by many biblical teachers. The scriptures to support this guard are in the video below.
The newer and more edified guard disagrees with the above in timing at the very least. The abomination of desolation spoken of by CHRIST and the prophet Daniel shows this event has happened in the past. It has already taken place and you can learn the new guard in the series Matthew 24 and the Sixth Seal.
