The Soul that Honors His Father Will Live

Wisdom says the soul that honors his father will live a long life. Those who are obedient to the Sovereign Most-High of Hosts will do the good deed of comforting their mother. The man who reverences the Everlasting Father will honor his father and serve his parents as if they were his very own masters.

Honor your father and mother in word and in actions so they leave an enrichment and the endowment comes upon you! The enriching of a father will establish the houses of the children; a curse from the mother will root out the foundations of the child’s house.

Many people in this generation have grown up without their earthly father. This leaves a void and some anger also. However, it is glory to still honor, because such a neglectful or absent father has to answer and atone for his own transgressions.

Do not glory or take pleasure and pride when you dishonor your father. There is nothing to glory about in the dishonor of a father. The true glory or measurement of a man is from the honor he gave to his father; a mother dishonored is a reproach or a disappointment to the children. Honor!
