We Shall Reign on the Earth

In our previous study topic posting, we shared how the Lord will return and have dominion over the earth, and His dominion is an everlasting dominion.

The importance of this was that Daniel, the divine visionary (prophet), said one like the Son of man was coming in the clouds, with all of His saints with Him.

Welcome to BibleStudyMinistry.com (BSM), your online bible study supplement source. Today we’re still exploring the concept of having power over the nations as mentioned by Jesus Christ! It is part of our study topic features, where we study a topic in the Bible one scripture at a time. Let’s get back to today’s study topic!

In the beginning of this study topic, power over the nations, we shared how the Lord will have power over the nations of the earth, and share that power with an elect group who join themselves to Him.

This leads us to the focus of this study topic titled, We Shall Reign on the Earth. Obviously, many people and christians may still be under the understanding that after people leave this life, they will go to heaven with the Lord.

It’s just as some famous basketball players still feel the earth is flat (to each his own). However, the scriptures heavily points to a big utopias gathering here on the earth with the Lord ruling. The good news is you and I have a stake in the dominion of the Lord’s Kingdom.

First, the Lord wants us to increase in every good thing, especially in love to one another and to all men, also in knowledge. This way our mind is established before our Lord and God in wholeness without blame at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will come with all His saints (1 Thess 3:12-13).

The Lord will come with those saints as Daniel saw in the vision, and also as Paul wrote to the Thessalonians. Those are two quality witnesses of the Lord, but we can add a third in the great revealer, John.

John saw a whole lot! In fact, John saw so much, his writings is the one book most christians want nothing to do with. John saw twenty-four elders around the Lord’s Throne, and He saw the Lion of the tribe of Judah open the book and loose the seven seals.

He saw the four beasts standing with the twenty-four elders bowing and praising the Lord without stop. He saw the golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

Most important to this study topic, John saw the saints sing a new song of how the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, was worthy to take the book and open the seals. He was worthy because He was killed for our sins and has redeemed us back to the Heavenly Kingdom by His blood.

He has made us kings and priests unto God, and we shall reign on the earth.

How does this make you feel? How is this different than what you may have learned in your lifetime in biblical studies? How does this make you walk going forward?

To many of us, this shakes things up, this makes us study deeper, and get clarity of what our spiritual future really looks like. We shall reign on the earth is exciting because we are reigning with the True and Living Lord.

We were found worthy to be redeemed to the Heavenly Kingdom for their purpose. Praise God for that. We’re nearly done with the study topic, power over the nations, and we hope you continue joining us for the last three or four postings.
