Kingdom of Priests: Jeremiah and the King of Host

Study Topic: Power Over the Nations

Jeremiah and the King of Host

In Isaiah chapter 41, this is stated as plainly as it has been stated throughout the research in this book and in the Bible. It truly a wonder and does amaze me on how church organizations overlook this vital position and title.

21 Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

God ask the children of Israel to produce their cause and bring strong reasons why they should not serve the Holy One and King of Israel. What’s the reason says the King of Jacob! The title, “King of Jacob,” references the physical sons of Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham. God was and is their King.

Jeremiah and the King of Host

Isaiah isn’t the only prophet who writes about God as King. We’ll move into the book and prophet Jeremiah. We are beating a dead horse on this topic because we really want to drive this home for the edification of the entire church body. The children of the kingdom, both physically and spiritually should understand the nature of what we’re reading.

Jeremiah chapter 10

10 But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

God is an everlasting King, in whom no one can abide in His indignation. The earth will tremble at the wrath of the King of Host. His wrath will make the wrath of Henry VIII of England look like newborn baby’s temper tantrum.

In chapter 23 of Jeremiah, it is written that the days are coming when God will raise unto David a righteous Branch. The righteous Branch will be a King who will rule and prosper while executing judgment and justice in the earth (23:5).

When it is really thought upon and considered without bias, isn’t everyone looking for Jeremiah 23:5 right now in the earth? Justice and judgment, and equity; the good news is that it is coming.

We as ambassadors must bring it in first, we must prepare the way before the Lord, so the Almighty does His work, His strange work. It is written all over the Bible. I implore big bible people, bible institutions, big church organizations to adopt this view. Reach out and speak to heads of states of the great matter.
