Needless to say, my idea or ideology of the scriptures was all wrong and yours may be too. Here is why:
First, mine. In 2004 I got serious about studying the Bible. Some events led me to get serious. A good friend of mine was playing basketball on a weekend that I wasn’t, and I got a call from another friend that he’d passed out while playing and died on the court.
Astonished, I began to contemplate more about the mysteries of death. This is why I started to study harder and in the process of learning more about death from the scriptures, I learned a lot of other things pertaining to the scriptures.
Fast-forward five years later, I’d become a novice scholar of the scriptures. I say “novice scholar” because I’d read the bible front to back 12 times with grueling notes. And I do mean grueling notes. At that point, I knew the book very well, probably like an AI machine does today, but not the spiritual deepness of it all.
That was 2009!
Let’s add five or six more years and spiritual maturity was finally beginning to settle in. My youthful radicalness was diminishing. Spiritual maturity is realizing you are not always right about scripture or everything. It’s listening to where the other person or organization is, their point of view, and where you both meet. It is being strong and weaponized but not going out to fight or even defend yourself, but having the ability to safeguard the defenseless in pure righteousness. And by 2016, I’d mentally found that new reality.
This reality led me to embrace all people, all religions, all constructs, and all ideologies with one caveat! The caveat was not to lose sight of self, reality, and the Almighty Creator!
Perhaps the biggest thing I incorporated from 2015 to 2016 was the ideology that the Bible is not a religious book. Nope, it’s not a religious manuscript, but more so a document about a Kingdom, a King, His culture or way of life, and His people. This ideology was heavily influenced by the late Dr. Myles Munroe.
His ministry and work are a great study.
I wrote about this ideology in a book titled, A Kingdom of Priests, and created a website to foster an online community that lived and shared the kingdom principles.
With the internet, the streets, and churches still loaded with misrepresentations of the Most-High, deranged methods and tones of sharing the gospel, and plain ole false doctrines out there, I set out to create a network of Evangelizers that I would call “Vangelizars,” who would take what the teachings, and together we’d systematically share it like a unified front.
We’d have the same doctrine, same history, same prophecy, and certainly the same principles, only remixing and having individualism at the personality level so we could be the salt and light of the earth.
Then 2020 happened.
I halted that project, well, it didn’t see the light of day because it was prepared to launch in May 2020, and my world like the rest of the world was spun upside down by March 2020.
Storms of questions came in asking, is this the end of the world?
Is this the mark of the beast?
Is this what Revelation was talking about?
I had to ask the Most-High, a few questions myself…
Like, “Hello, no warning about KO-VID!”
A little voice said, you never asked about it. So I began to ask about a lot of things, including what I thought I knew.
The Spirit directed me to restudy EVERYTHING!
I was also directed to read every book that spoke about the Eternal Father, Christ, the Spirit of the Eternal Father, and everything in between.
After a grueling four years of study, I’m fascinated by the depth of the world.
The one thing I learned in all of this is that my idea or ideology of scriptures was all wrong. And, if I’ve been sharing this since 2004 to the present day, 2024, 20 years like Lebron James’ time in the NBA, people who have been reading and going along with the publishings here are probably in the same boat.
The good news is that at the core, the core principles, history, and prophecy, we’re still all-state… that is, in good hands.
However, some things are completely upside down or as Jeremiah would state it, inherited lies.
This prompted me to take a step back and restart. I understand and know many of the things I may share via blog posts and writings like this going forward may be unsettling for many people.
You may disagree, you may be inspired, intrigued, and want to grow together. Whatever the Spirit leads you to do is good.
That’s enough for now; I’ll dig deeper in another writing.
Just remember, your Master said people would prefer darkness to light.
