They Platted a Crown of Thorns Upon His Head

They Platted a Crown of Thorns and Place it Upon His Head from Matthew 27. 27 The governor’s soldiers led Jesus, His Majesty, into the fortress and brought together the rest of the troops. 28 They stripped off Jesus’ clothes and put a scarlet robe on Him.

29 They made a crown out of thorn branches and placed it on His head, and they put a stick in his right hand. The soldiers knelt down and pretended to worship him. They made fun of Him and shouted, “Hey, you king of the Jews!”

30 Then they spit on him. They took the stick from him and beat him on the head with it.

Even if I didn’t believe Jesus (Yashaya) the Christ was the foretold King, Messiah, and prince of the people, there is no way I would treat a human being like the Roman soldiers did Christ.

There is a level and manner of love and compassion one can have for anyone if they are delusional. In Christ, His Majesty’s case, He was not delusional but was stating the facts, He was their King.

His people allowed Him to fall into the hand of foreigners for abuse and torcher, mocking, and embarrassment. In my old neighborhood, one of the worst things you could do to another person was spit on them.

The other was to place your foot on them when they were down. They did this to our King, and someone will have to pay the price; someone will have to pay the penalty.

CHRIST came and said, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. His disciples asked, “Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” Also, the LORD ALMIGHTY said, “And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
