24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

Wisdom will laugh at such person’s calamity and will mock their fear when it comes upon them. When calamity hits, those who avoided wisdom will hear the voice of that person that always says, “TOLD YOU SO,” or “told you not to do that,” or “told you, you shouldn’t have bought that house!”

They will hear it, be it they say it aloud or say it under their thoughts; the avoider of wise counsel’s conscience will speak as wisdom saying that to you. That is wisdom laughing at your calamity because you set her aside to do it your way (Isaiah 65:2).
