Daily Wisdom Bible Study – The Lord by Wisdom hath Founded the Earth
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
What’s more precious than rubies? Wisdom! Out of everything you can desire, wisdom does not compare to those things.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
Wisdom has length of days in her right hand, and riches and honor is wedged in her left hand. What more do you want in this life? We all want to live long (length of days), live well (riches), and live with integrity and respect (honor). In order to get those, we must invite wisdom into our lives first and foremost!
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
When we have wisdom in our lives; we have pleasant and peaceful lives. Without wisdom we have the opposite, just ask people with wisdom about their lives, and those without wisdom.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
Again, Wisdom is a tree of life when you lay hold onto wisdom and those of us with Wisdom are happy.
The Lord by Wisdom hath Founded the Earth
19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
Just to show how powerful and needful wisdom is in our lives, Jesus used wisdom to found the earth and established both heaven and earth with understanding.
21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
The Lord by Wisdom hath Founded the Earth
Do not allow wisdom to depart from your mind, keep it and allow it to be life to your soul, and wear it like a necklace for your neck. Wisdom will allow you to walk boldly and not stumble, and when you rest, you won’t be afraid; you’ll have sweet sleep. It all begins with sound wisdom, attaining it and keeping it.
