After Joseph revealed himself to his brothers, he sent for his father, Israel (Jacob). Once in the land of Egypt, all of Jacob’s sons began to procreate with the daughters of Egypt. After Joseph’s generation, the children of Israel really exploded in numbers.
This was to the great concern of the Egyptian government. It got to the point where they began to ill-treat the Hebrew Israelites. After four hundred years and some change, Egypt became very harsh towards Israel. This led Israel to entreat the LORD Almighty for help.
They needed the pressure to be taken off of them and the LORD heard them and sent them a savior. In the year 1576 BCE, the child Moses was born. It was during the 17th and 18th dynasty of Egypt under the Pharaoh KaMose that Moses was born.
