All the LORD Did for Israel Was Not Enough
They haven’t said ‘Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt’ or ‘Where is He that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits. Where is He that brought us through the land of drought, through the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through and dwelt?
I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruits there and the goodness of the land. However, when you entered the land you defiled My land And made My heritage an abomination. The priests have not asked, ‘Where is the LORD’?
Those who handle the law have not known Me, the prophets prophesied to you by Baal. They walked after things that do not profit at all. Therefore O house of Israel, I will still plead with you,” says the LORD ALMIGHTY, “And with your children’s children.
Be Astonished At This O Heavens
Pass over the islands of Chittim and see; check Kedar, consider diligently if there ever been such a thing. Has a nation changed its gods that were not even gods? Nevertheless, my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.
Be astonished, be astonished at this O heavens. Be horribly afraid and desolate,” says the LORD ALMIGHTY. “For My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters and hewed out cisterns.
They hewed out broken cisterns that cannot hold any water. Are the Israelites servants? Are they homeborn slaves? Why are they spoiled? The young lions roared upon him and yelled at him. They made his land waste; his cities are burned down, left without an inhabitant.

Just know and see that it was an evil and bitter thing for you to have forsaken the LORD your ALMIGHTY. It is terribly evil that My fear is not in you,” says the LORD ELOHIM of Hosts.
How Did Israel Turn into a Degenerate Plant
“From the old days I have broken your yoke and burst your bands, and you said you will not transgress. Still, upon every high hill and under every green tree, you wandered off playing the harlot. Still, I have planted you as a noble vine, wholesome and a right seed.
How, then, are you turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine to Me?”
The prophet Jeremiah is doing exactly what the LORD ALMIGHTY commanded him to do; cry in the ears of Jerusalem. In the above passage is based on Jeremiah chapter 2 (verses 1-21).
The LORD MOST-HIGH, through Jeremiah, laments and rebukes the children of Judah and Israel for their lack of faithfulness. He accuses His people of treason; He lets them know the gravity of their decision to forsake the fountain of living waters in Him.
This decision is a grievous decision that the heavens were told to be astonished at and horribly afraid of. How can a nation trade the living ELOHIM for idol gods who are not even gods? The children of Israel today should be ashamed of their forefathers and also of themselves.
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The disciples asked, “Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?”
