In Genesis chapter 24 summary, Abraham commands his chief servant to find his son Isaac a wife.
The thing is Abraham commanded he find the woman from his hometown of Ur or Mesopotamia and to be sure his son does not marry a woman of Canaan.
Genesis Chapter 24 Summary
The servant makes the journey pleading to God to lead him directly to the woman of choice for Abraham’s son. The servant prayed to God to give him a certain scenario for him to know of certainty the woman for his master Abraham’s son. The servant finds a beautiful young lady named Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel. Rebekah was the brother to Laban.
After revealing the amazing miraculous journey of finding Rebekah, and how God showed him the exact scenario in running into Rebekah, everyone was amazed and gave glory to God. Rebekah agrees to go back with the servant to the land of Canaan to marry Isaac, the son of Abraham.
She is prayed for and blessed by her family, and said to be the blessed mother of thousands of millions. She meets Isaac, who was out meditating in the evening and becomes his wife.
