Abram was promised the land and the abundance of offspring, all gifted to him by the ALMIGHTY. The covenants were also given to him to rule the world through HIS SEED, CHRIST! Abram listened and obeyed the LORD and left Syria or Mesopotamia (Ur = Sumer) for Canaan and dwelled in Hebron of Canaan.
There his nephew Lot and their servants had a dispute over the land and their riches that they had to separate in order to settle it. The LORD asked Abram to look as far north, east, west, and south as he could and know that it will be for his seed forever; they will be as the dust of the earth (as noted in Genesis 13).

History: Abram becomes the one man who GOD covenanted with after the disperse of the nations at the tower of Babel. The earth was doomed again, but Abram became the faithful and in him, all people of the earth would become blessed.
Prophecy: Abram’s seed and SEED (as in CHRIST) would rule the earth.
