Exodus chapter 26 summary details the furnishing of the tabernacle of the LORD. This chapter went into the details of construct the tabernacle. The exact cubits and colors for each section of the tabernacle.

Most of the tabernacle fixtures may have been made of fine wood or brass, but it was always overlaid with gold. Here are some features; it began with the curtains, which were fine twined linen. They were colored blue, purple, and scarlet with cherubims on them.

Another set of the curtains were made of goats hair as the covering, and another of ram’s skins colored or dyed red. Don’t forget the badger’s skin also. The boards or framework was made of acacia or shittim wood, and all were overlaid with gold.

As it went into the deeper interior a vail of blue, purple, and scarlet was sown of fine twined linen, with cherubims on it. It hung on four pillars, which were of shittim wood overlaid with gold.

The vail was brought before the ark of the testimony to divide the High Priest from the holy place, and the most holy place. The mercy seat went in the far back on the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
