Most Christians have probably never heard of the one Mr. Antoine Dodson and it is more so because of the fact that he was no Christian. I actually first heard of Mr. Dodson from a news report when someone was trying to rape his sister. The video went viral on YouTube and Antoine became an overnight online celebrity for it. To be honest, when I saw he was invited on talk shows to talk about the incident and how it became an online sensation, I was miffed because he was not really a star.
Antoine Dodson Renounces His Homosexuality for the Word of God
I remember he was on a talk show and I told my associate, the media loves to parade black men (and men in general) who want to be women or who are homosexual and the world puts on this pressure, much like unto peer pressure, to accept this as normal. Well after the first openly gay NBA player came out (Jason Collins), Antoine Dodson came in. He renounced his homosexuality based on reading the Word of God.

Dodson said that he researched the scripture and found it is not approved by the God of the Bible. It says in Leviticus chapter 18
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
It is in this same chapter that it tells us as children of God, we should not commit adultery. Homosexuality and adultery both get the same result. In fact, they get the result or punishment as thievery, false witnessing, and dishonoring of parents.
20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.
This young man realized what he was doing was wrong Biblically and made the move to pronounce the change and repent. I certainly hope he has the testimony of Jesus Christ and walks well with the LORD; and hopefully his testimony will be a blessing to others who have come out and want to come back into Jesus Christ.
