A Measuring Line to Measure Jerusalem: I had another vision from the Lord of hosts, and this time when I lifted my eyes and saw, there was a man with a measuring line in his hand. I was bold once again and asked him, “Where are you going?” His response was to measure Jerusalem.
He had a measuring line to measure Jerusalem to note the width and length of the city. The angel with the measuring line was then met by another angel. This angel told him to quickly tell this young man, referring to me, that Jerusalem will be colonized and occupied as cities without walls for the multitude of people and animals within.
The angel then spoke as the Lord saying, “I will be a wall of fire to her (Jerusalem) all the way around, and will be the impacting influence in her midst.” Then the Lord exclaimed to His people Israel to flee out of the lands of the north where He spread them.
Come out of the daughters of Babylon!
Come out!, the Lord declared, from the four winds of the heaven where He spread them abroad. Deliver yourself O Zion who dwells with the daughters of Babylon. This is what the Lord of hosts says, “After His own glory has He sent me to the nations that have spoiled, stripped, and deprived you.
What the nations do not know is that anyone who touches Zion, my people, touches the apple of the Lord’s eye.” The Lord continued saying, “See, I will shake my hand on the daughter of Babylon, and they will be a spoil to their servants.
When this is seen, then you will know that the Lord of hosts has indeed sent me. Therefore, sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, sing and rejoice; because I am come and will dwell in your midsts,” says the Lord.
Jerusalem will be chosen and protected
At that time, many nations will be joined to the Lord. In that day, many nations will be the Lord’s people. The Lord will dwell in the midst of Zion and they will know the Lord of hosts has sent me to Zion.
The Lord will inherit Judah as His portion in the Holy Land and will still choose Jerusalem again. All humans, keep silent; keep silent O man before the True and Living Lord; for He is raised up, out of His Holy habitation. Keep silent!
