Genesis Chapter 6 Summary

Mankind become extremely wicked as they began to multiply in the earth.

God observed that His spirit was not in them and this meant another spirit was in them.

God’s first plan of action was to shorten their days on the earth to 120 years.

Even with the shortened days, the wickedness in the earth was great. It is said that man’s every imagination of their thoughts were ONLY evil continually.

It was so bad God repented or was sorry that He’d created man. Because of this, God begins His extermination plan of all mankind, but finds grace in a man named Noah and decides to deliver him and his family.

Noah is commanded to build the instrument that will carry him onto the other side of the flood, called the Ark. God bless Noah, because he did all that God commanded him to do.
