Preaching the Word to the Jews Only is a practice still done today by many groups of people. We have plenty folks who believe they are Jews.

They come into such knowledge and they believe they are the chosen people of GOD.

So be it, however, these very same people get caught up into nationalism. They defend their nation more so than the Word of God.

It is true, Jesus did tell the disciples to go not in the way of the Gentiles and the children of Samaria. This was done with purpose. The purpose can be learn or gained from our study on the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.

Preaching the Word to the Jews only Still Practiced Today

Nevertheless, this was a practice going on during the days of Paul and Barnabas, as the church was blossoming into a world wide force. Cornelius, the Gentile from the Italian Band, was just brought into the New Covenant by Peter, and this even astonished Peter (the leader of the Church under the New Covenant).

First Peter in Acts chapter 10 says at verse 34:

… Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 

Who ever fears God and works righteousness is accepted by God. In Acts chapter 11 Peter gets deeper with his understanding. After being violently questioned about what he had done in ministering to Gentiles, Peter rehearsed the matter to the Jews.

Acts 11

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

The Holy Spirit fell on the Gentiles as it fell on them in the beginning, speaking of the day of Pentecost.

At any rate, the Jews who had escaped Jerusalem because of Paul scattering man away for persecution, especially after the stoning of Stephen; many travelled far teaching and preaching the Word of GOD to none but the Jews only.

19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

This practice is still done today by nationalist. This isn’t to be so. Preaching the Word to the Jews only is a practice of segregation and of ignorance.

All are God’s children and all who fear God and work righteousness are accepted by Him.
