He That Walketh with Wise Men

If all your closest friends have bad attitudes… it’s sure you may have one too!

He That Walketh with Wise MenWelcome to BibleStudyMinistry.com with a daily wisdom publishing! We’re looking at a scripture in Proverbs that should help shed some light on our personal lives and some choices we make daily!

It says:

20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

It is so strange that people seldom take account of the people they most often speak with, hang with, and do the majority of their activities with. Throughout the ages it has been said that we become who we surround ourselves with.

“Birds of a feather flock together!”

If this is indeed the case, and it is, we may be forced to grow up and around certain people, but once we become adults, we have the choice to surround ourselves with people who we want.

He That Walketh with Wise Men

Wise men walk with wise men, this is why or how the become or stay wise; fools keep foolish company. This is why they get worse and worse, and finally destroy themselves.

A follower of Christ (Christian) should have men and women around them who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ . They should also keep people around them who practice the fruits of the spirit as well.

Remember this verse as you sit among your peers, coworkers, business associates, and who your children surround themselves around! This is not to say you should abandon these people… just spend less time with them if they do not want to upgrade their wisdom and lifestyle.
