Moreover Concerning a Stranger

The Jews today and many people of Hebrew-Israel descent who come into the knowledge of who they are or who have known who they are, usually disregard the stranger.

The stranger is one who is not physically of the children of Israel. This would pretty much include all people around the world who do not come specifically from the family of Jacob and his twelve sons.

41 Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name’s sake;

42 (For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

43 Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

In a prayer that King Solomon was giving as he was dedicating the temple of God, Solomon prayed for the stranger. He prayed concerning the stranger who are not of the people of Israel but who come out of a far country for the name of the Lord.

Moreover Concerning a Stranger

Solomon prayed, with all his wisdom, that the stranger shall hear of God’s great name and when they come in to pray towards God’s house, God should hear from heaven and do all that the stranger calls for Him to do.

Of course, this would mean the stranger would come into the Commonwealth of Israel by keeping Israel’s laws statutes and commandments. However, the stranger becomes natural citizens once stay spiritually committed to serving the God of Israel.

All true servants of God understand this because it is written throughout the Old and New Testament. God is attempting to salvage the entire world and the method in which God is doing this is to inform a royal nation, a priestly nation who then turn and inform the rest of the nations.

The stranger is welcomed once they hear of God’s great name, the name of Jesus, and when they pray to the Lord, the Lord would do according to all that they call for today.
