TOOM: Gender Bias in the Scepter of the Kingdom

Gender Bias in the Scepter of the Kingdom? To examine the kingship or scepter is much the same; there would appear to be a gender bias in the kingdom or government of the Sovereign LORD and ancient Israel, His Kingdom. We’ll again examine scriptures by the prophets of the ALMIGHTY.

1st Samuel 8:5,22 KJV
[5] And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. [22] And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. Then Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.

HIS Majesty, the LORD ELOHIM of Israel is going to select a king or captain over His people.

1st Samuel 9:15-17 KJV

[15] Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying, [16] To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.

[17] And when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over my people.

The LORD, HIS Majesty, chose a “man” out of the tribe of Benjamin to reign over HIS people. This was Saul, the son of Kish.

1st Samuel 10:1 KJV

[1] Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the Lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?

When Saul fell to disobedience and sin, HIS Majesty, the LORD of Israel chose another “man,” David, the son of Jesse. He could have, at this point, chose a woman using the thinking we have today.

“A man tried and failed, let’s try a woman; if she fails, we will try the children. If they fail, we shall give the babies a go at it.” That is not how the ALMIGHTY operates and thinks.

1st Samuel 16:1,13 KJV

[1] And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Beth-lehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

[13] Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

When HIS Majesty, the LORD ALMIGHTY set up His priests and His kings, the records show HE chose men!

And even when women were spiritually strong and very wise in the matter of work in which they should do, they always consulted with men (the wise and powerful women did at least).

Judges 4:3-9 KJV

[3] And the children of Israel cried unto the Lord: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel. [4] Thus Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

[5] And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. [6] She sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

[7] And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand. [8] Then Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

[9] And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the Lord shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

Deborah Kept It Decent and Orderly

Deborah behaved decently and in order. She gave or offered the man the opportunity to lead. She was also under (the subjection of) a husband in her life.

Therefore, the kingship and order of the kingdom were appointed to men, much as it was in the priesthood, and in the household.

With understanding, we know this is the case predominantly because women are the bearers of children and the architects of nurturing children. That naturally demands a great level and amount of devotion, time, and energy.

This study topic was put together to rebuild the family institution according to the holiest order given to man. It is the order of the Son of Elohim, Yashaya (Jesus) the Christ. This is the Order of Melchizedek.

In order to build a nation, it starts with the men. The men must be fitly joined by a virtuous woman. A man should have a pleasing wife so they may bring up righteous children. This must all be done decently and in order; in the order must all things be done!

After the order of Melchizedek.
