The Creator, our Eternal Father, gave our prophets and apostles a great recipe for success. They were given and we have plenty of examples of failures also. The Faith Serum and Three Portals for Spiritual Insight can be summed up in Paul’s whole body armor example. His symbolism for the spiritual battle is found in Ephesians chapter 6:12-20.
We are not fighting against humans, Paul declared. And we aren’t; this is why we need faith, a faith serum. We are fighting against forces, authorities, and against rulers of darkness. We are battling against powers in the spiritual world. A spiritual world against a physical world, spiritual warfare, my dad used to call it growing up. It’s a battle for your mind because the rulers of darkness know the mind controls the body.
The Whole Armor of the Great Creator
So the ambassador of the Celestial Kingdom tells us to put on all the armor the Creator gives. Then when that evil day comes to us, like it will to everyone, we will be able to defend ourselves. And when the battle is over, you will still be standing firm. Then Paul tells us how to survive the evil day.
Be ready, he declares!
My closest friend says when she was growing up she was taught the 5 Ps. Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. In order to be ready, we must prepare to be ready. When we properly prepare ourselves for the evil day, we will prevent poor performance of righteousness.
What does Paul tell us to begin with in our preparation?
Let the truth be like a belt around your waist, and let the Father’s justice or righteousness protect you like armor (v14). Our desire to tell the good news (the gospel) about peace should be like shoes on your feet (v15). I love the Jordan Brand, but the Air Gospels are even better. Soldiers need belts to keep their trousers up and shoes on their feet.
The truth was the first thing. Unfortunately, many people will fall victim to darkness even though they love “Jesus” and the Father to pieces. They will fall victim because they love the false image and false portrayal of the Father and Jesus. They do not have the truth.
As of November 1st, 2023, there are multiple bloody wars taking place on the earth. The military campaign in Ukraine, the Israeli-Palestinian onslaught, and countless tragedies in Sudan, DR Congo, and Ethiopia. Many of these are ethnic and religious wars. This is not the gospel of peace; this is not the gospel of reconciliation.
The apostle continues, he states, let your faith be like a shield.
With strong faith, we will be able to stop all the flaming arrows of the evil one (v16). The Faith Serum will help with this immensely. The evil one is constantly attempting to get us all to capitulate. Even if your belt went missing or your shoes worn out, if you had the shield of faith to stop the fiery darts, you’d stay protected.
Let the Father’s saving power be like a helmet, and for a sword use His message that comes from the Spirit (v17). We need to protect our heads and helmets usually do the job. Our helmet is the Father’s salvation; knowing He is ready to save us as mentioned in Isaiah 38:20 is powerful.
Our weapon of choice is the sword, the Gza from the Wu-Tang Clan had the Liquid Swords. We have the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of the Great Creator. His Word chops down all things that offend.
It is a great weapon.
In all of this, never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Remain alert and keep praying for the Creator’s people (v18). Prayer is not just bowing our heads. It is keeping the commandments and thinking positively for all the saints.
Prayer is the constant desire for the good of all people, even our adversaries. Prayer is staying in good graces and good communication with our Eternal Father. This way the forces of good, the Holy Angels stay encamped around us.
Paul even asked for the people of his time to pray for him. Pray that he will be given the message to speak and speak fearlessly to explain the mystery of the gospel. This is the task he was sent to do, why he was jailed. He needs the courage to do what he was appointed to do (v20).
Today, this would be equivalent to men and women, brothers and sisters who put themselves in harm’s way to proclaim righteousness in the face of evil. Pray for your true leaders, who are really your servants and ministers.
The whole armor of the Creator will have us ready.
We will have the truth, knowing the origin of all things, even our spirit. The truth allows us to know righteousness, righteousness gives us peace within. This peace within is for the individual, and permeants out to the community, nation, and kingdom.
Above this, we have the shield of faith, quenching all fiery darts of the wicked. Whatever our shield misses, our helmet will save us, and when we do have to fight, we have our sword of the Spirit. This is the Word of the Creator. Last, we pray, we pray, we pray, until the end.
The whole armor with the secret elixir of the faith serum to the three portals is a very well-thought-out way to see the Eternal Father.
