The Gospel of the Kingdom and the Abomination of Desolation (part 2): Welcome back to the M24 and the 6th Seal Series. The abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet is the next topic. This multi-fold event is critical to understand as it is built the same in every generation.
When the sins of a nation become abominable and reach a boiling point, the destruction of the nation is imminent. This is the judgment by the ALMIGHTY. We’d have to think historically for a moment.
Reflect on the Shinar and the Tower of Babel; take thought of Sodom and Gomorrah; we’d have to continue to ponder of Egypt. Still, thinking? Contemplate of Canaan; please reflect of Israel with the Assyrians. Their kingdom was taken over.
We Have a Lot of Thinking to Do!
Pull your thoughts onto the kingdom of Judah with the Babylonians. What are we thinking about? We’re thinking about how these nations began to live and behave so abominably that they were all destroyed, scattered, or placed in captivity.
Did you think of Assyria being absorbed by Babylon, and then Babylon by Medo-Persia. The Medes and the Persians were swallowed up by the Macedonian Greeks? Did you think of the Romans absorbing the Macedonian-Greeks, and continuing the captivity of the Judaens (Judah Benjamin Levi)?
The captivity of the Jews here was handled by the hand of General Titus of the Romans? When General Titus took down Jerusalem, it was the second instance of an abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet towards Judah and Israel.
Ships of Juda and the Coasts of Africa
The first abomination that made it desolate took place with Assyria/Babylon crushing Samaria and Judah respectively for the nation’s abominations. It continued under the Greek empire and early Rome when Greek ruler Antiochus IV replaced the daily sacrifice in the days of the Maccabees.
The third instance was when the ships pulled up onto the Americas against the natives, who also are the children of Israel. The ships of Juda also pulled up on the coasts of Africa.
The latter end will find its way to our cities and in conjunction with technologies and Space Travel, which is the new Tower of Babel. These all will become our future abomination of desolation! This study will show why and how; stay tuned!
