The Gospel of the Kingdom and the Abomination of Desolation: Welcome back to the M24 and the 6th Seal Series. In the previous posting, we addressed the afflictions many endured for the gospel’s sake.
As we return to CHRIST’s words in regards to the questions at the beginning of the 24th chapter of Matthew, we look at the gospel. HE will turn HIS speech to “The Gospel” of the Kingdom. HE also spoke of the abomination of desolation, a great warning for the time.
Matthew 24:14-15 KJV
[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. [15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Spreading the gospel of the Kingdom as a witness to all the world again is not just twofold, but multifold. This gospel of the Kingdom had to be preached in all the world. Paul and his comrades did this.
Believe it or not, the gospel was preached in the Americas, before the arrival of Mr. Columbus or Mr. Vespucci Amerigo. It was also taught in Asia. Once preached, then the end could take place.
Is the Fullness of the Gospel Spreading?
Bishops, deacons, elders, brothers, sisters, and ministers today are doing this for our generation. They are spreading the true gospel. The spreading of the gospel usually ushers in the end; not the end of the world, but the end of those spreading the gospel.
The gospel is teaching and preaching the coming of the Kingdom of CHRIST on the earth. This will prepare the way for the Kingdom of the Heaven (of the FATHER). The current kingdoms of the earth do not like hearing about the gospel because it takes away their dominion.
The gospel places the last first and the first last. This is why the end comes and an abomination occurs that makes the land desolate. TO BE CONTINUED…
