The Mystery of God Should Be Finished

The Mystery of God Should Be FinishedWeird title possibly, but not as weird as you may be led to believe.

If I added a question mark to, the mystery of God should be finished, then it would be a bit weird because I would be asked another question.

Why?

However, it is not a question, it is a bold statement. It comes out of Revelation chapter 10. This isn’t a statement of wishes as in; “The Miami Heat should have won the three peat.”

This phrase is telling what will happen at a certain time. Ironically, we just had a High Sabbath a few days ago called the Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets. The verse we are going to take a quick look at today happens to deal with the Trumpets.

Revelation 10

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

It says here in verse seven, in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when that angel sounds his trumpet; this is when the mystery of God should be finished. All the pieces of the puzzle should finally or close to finally be all clear.

The Mystery of God Should Be Finished

The pieces of the puzzle are all laid in a collection of books we call the Bible. The mystery surrounding Jesus, that He has declared to His servants, the prophets, should be finished when the seventh angel sounds his trumpet.

What is so important about this?

Two things I took home in this one verse (you may have taken more):

1) God has declared all of this through his servants the prophets. And think … we only have 40 books available to us from the prophets (39 Old Testament books and 1 prophetic writing in the New Testament by John, Revelations).

This is vital, because if you want to learn the mystery ahead of time, alls you have to do is read the the writings of the prophets.  If the writings of the prophets is hard-to-be-understood, find someone who understands the writings and study with them until the writings become clear.

The Mystery of God Should Be Finished … at the 7th Trumpet

2) The second thing I took from verse 7 is, the mystery is going to be fuzzy to many people right up unto the seventh trumpet. The seventh trumpet implies at least six trumpets preceded it.

This means from the moment of my writing this, through six angels blowing their trumpets, the mystery of God will not be finished.

Fascinating, but good to know nonetheless …

The mystery of God should be finished, including the seven thunders John was not allowed to write from verse 4 of this same chapter, but at the seventh angel with the seventh trumpet. All things, which even the highest Bible scholar doesn’t understand or know should be finished soon.

Grace and peace in Jesus name
