How Do You Make Everyone Happy And Does God Do It?

How to make everyone happy? The short answer…

Honestly? You can’t.

Trying to make everyone happy is a guaranteed path to burnout, disappointment, and losing yourself. People have different values, perspectives, wounds, and expectations. Some will be pleased, others will criticize no matter what you do — and often for reasons that have little to do with you.

Instead of aiming to please everyone, aim to:

  • Do what is right, not just what is popular.
  • Be kind, not performative.
  • Be true to your purpose, and let that guide your decisions.
  • Listen with humility, but stand firm with wisdom.

The Creator never tasked anyone with making everyone happy — not even His prophets or His Son. Peace comes not from pleasing people, but from fulfilling your purpose and doing good with a clear conscience.

The Man, the Donkey, and the Village

Once upon a time, an old man and his grandson set out on a journey to the next village. The old man rode their donkey, and the boy walked beside him.

As they passed through the first village, people scoffed:
“Look at that selfish old man, riding while the young boy walks!”

Feeling ashamed, the old man got off and let the boy ride.

In the next village, people murmured:
“What a spoiled child! That poor elder is walking while the boy rides like a prince!”

So they both decided to ride the donkey together.

But when they reached the third village, villagers cried out:
“That poor donkey! Carrying two people? Such cruelty!”

Now embarrassed, they both got off and walked.

At the fourth village, people laughed:
“Fools! Why even bring a donkey if neither of you will ride it?”

The old man stopped, shook his head, and said to his grandson:
“No matter what you do, someone will always find fault. Just do what is wise and right before the Almighty, and let people talk.”

How Do You Make Everyone Happy?

Even the Great Creator Almighty doesn’t make everyone happy! Right? Exactly — even the Almighty doesn’t make everyone happy.

Think about it:

  • In Eden, Adam and Eve were given paradise — and still rebelled.
  • The children of Israel were delivered from slavery — and still complained.
  • The Messiah healed, taught, loved — and still was rejected, mocked, and crucified.

Not because the Creator wasn’t good, loving, powerful, or just — but because humans have free will, different desires, different levels of understanding, and in many cases, hardened hearts.

Even today, some blame Him, some deny Him, and some love Him deeply — all while living under the same sun and sky He created.

So if even the Almighty, who is perfect in wisdom and love, doesn’t please everyone…

It’s proof: our mission isn’t to be liked by all — it’s to walk in truth, love, and purpose.

Moral:

Even the Almighty — who created the heavens, parted seas, and raised the dead — isn’t praised by everyone. You certainly won’t be. They hated on “Jesus Christ” the Anointed Prince of Judah sent to deliver the people. We’re wasting time trying to please everyone because we won’t. Live to please the Almighty, not them, and that is done by living to your fullest potential, purpose, might, in all joyfulness within Divine Order.

Micah 6:8, He has showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Almighty require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Creator?

Power be with you!
