Is God Your Priority Yes or No?

For most people, God is not the priority. God is not a focus for many people in the world. What is God? God is the Supreme Being, the Source, the Creator of the worlds; and because religions have harshly misrepresented the term “God,” most people aren’t interested at all anymore.

This brings to life the frustration Jesus had with the Pharisees, when he disturbingly lashed out at them saying, “ye stop men from entering the Kingdom of God, and ye yourselves do not enter.”

Jesus essentially said, church leaders are stopping people from entering, and they themselves are refusing to enter also. God is no longer a priority of the Christian world, and even most people searching for God, they do not know God’s priority, or what to look for.

Look into a scripture in Matthew and we can learn God’s priority.

Matthew chapter 6
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Jesus said to His disciples, don’t worry for your life regarding what you’re going to eat, drink, your health, or what you’ll wear. Life, real life, is much more than those things. Jesus further says:

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

These things the Gentiles and the nations of the earth search for, but God already knows what we need, and that we have concern and need of these things. We ought to rest our mental minds from these things and into something far more superior.

God’s first, and main priority is that man realizes, discovers, searches for, understands, and prepares him or herself to enter into the Kingdom of God.

Is this your priority?

Is desiring the things of God or things of your own your priority? The bible is a study guide of the King, a constitutional order of the King, and a historical record of the King and His earthly domain. If you’re into Christianity for the feel of it, that is a good start, but your goal should be the Kingdom of God, the priority that God has for the earth.
