Genesis Chapter 8 Summary

Genesis Chapter 8 Summary

In Genesis 8, God finally comes around to delivering Noah and his family from the flooding.

The flooding or rains end while the ark rests around the mountains of Ararat. As the waters begin to decrease, Noah constantly checks to see when and how much the waters are abated.

After 54 days following the ark resting on the mountains of Ararat, Noah and the crew are ready to get out of the ark.

After Noah gets off the ark, Noah is commanded by God the same command given to Adam; that was to be fruitful multiply and replenish themselves upon the earth. Noah took a clean animal and sacrificed it to the Lord.

The chapter ends with God promising not to curse the ground for man’s sake anymore because man is evil from his youth.

Let it be pleasing to the Father to add blessings to the reading and doing of His Holy Word through His Son Jesus Christ. Amen!
