Genesis Chapter 33 Summary
In Genesis 33, Jacob approaches a day he dreaded and feared.
It was the day or moment he reunited with his twin brother Esau. The problem is that Esau comes with 400 men adding to Jacob’s fears.
However, when they meet, they embraced cried and kissed each other over the years they’d been apart.
They are happy to catch up and see what they have done over the last twenty years.
After the peaceful reunion, they depart and Jacob settled in Succoth, then to Shalem, a city in Shechem in Canaan.
He builds an altar there and called it El’Elohe Israel, meaning the Mighty God of Israel.
Let it please the Father to add blessings to the reading and doing of His Holy Word through His Son Jesus Christ. So Be It!
