Devotional:

O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

2 Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

In Psalm chapter 60, it says that God has cast us off and scattered us, and has been displeased with the way we have treated each other and even God Himself. At verse two it says that God has made to tremble and has broken it, and we are praying God heals the breaches of the earth. 

Just looking at these two verses, we have to understand the reason why the children of Israel were scattered; the reason why the earth is fending for itself is because God has cast us off because God has been displeased with us.

We must recognize this and turn to acknowledge Him and acknowledge our sins against Him. We must pray God turns His hands from the evil He is showing the earth by turning His back to the earth.

From there God can heal the earth and heal us and allow us to be whole with our God. Attend to your God; this is the first step, attend to your God. Thank you for reading our devotional today!
