And the books were opened series continues with the Book of the Generations of the Sons of Noah (Noa)

Genesis 10:1, 32 KJV
[1] Now these are the generations of the sons of Noa, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. [32] These are the families of the sons of Noa, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
The generations of the sons of Noa give an account of the sons of Noa, who are Shem, Ham, and Japheth. In Genesis chapter ten, we go into their families, even up to seventy names are mentioned. The reality, chapter 10 of Genesis should have been placed or presented after chapter 11.
In other words, from chapter 9 of Genesis, everyone on the Ark got off. That’s eight souls. Let me help you! The Creator enriched Noa and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 9:1).
Covenant Made
“The Creator spake unto Noa, and to his sons with him, saying, And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark to every beast of the earth.”
A covenant was made with who? Noa and his sons and their seed (offspring, you and I). These are the three sons of Noa: and of them was the whole earth overspread (Genesis 9:19). Now, they are beginning to be fruitful and multiply.
Chapter 9 ends with the story of how Canaan became cursed by Noa into becoming the servant to Shem and his brothers. STOP! Don’t go into chapter 10 of Genesis.
Go into chapter 11.
What did you see?
“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech (Genesis 11:1).”
The Tower of Babel
Makes more sense; the sons of Noah are still in single communications, but then the Tower of Babel happens. The Great Spirit does not like what He witnessed at Babel (which is Babylon). So the Great Spirit scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth; they left off to build the city.
In verse 10 we are now going to go into the generations of Shem, which flow and follow the sons of Peleg (Genesis 11:18). If you hop back over to chapter 10 of Genesis, Shem’s genealogy follows Peleg’s brother, Joktan (Genesis 10:26).
To have chapter 10 of Genesis follow chapter 11 makes the narrative and the flow of the story make more sense. Why? It is because we can better understand how the people went from one language with Noa and his sons to the people attempting to work together at the Tower of Babel.
Hacked from the Scriptures
From there, the Great Spirit distorted the languages and scatters the people into family units and into different nations. That’s the story of the sons of Noa. Again, with them, the details of their story and generations have been hacked by the scribes who pieced the collection of books together for us that we call the Bible.
