1 Kings Chapter 6 Summary
In addition to this, the LORD would stay with the children of Israel and not forsake His people. Nearly everything Solomon put in the house of the LORD was made with the finest material and then overlaid with pure gold.
He made images of cherubims next to olive trees, it was a visual delight, and a wonder to behold. By the fourth year, the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid down, and seven years after that the house was completed.
It took eleven (11) years to build the house of the LORD, and it was completed in Solomons fifteenth year of his rule. This is the summary of 1 Kings chapter 6, glory to the LORD of Hosts.
