All Nations Compassed Me About
It is unfortunate that many people have overlooked the vital teachings of the Word of God, but there is so much, we just want to be a spark in the light that awakes and turn on people’s awareness of the visionary writers of the word of the Lord.

It is part of our study topic features, where we study a topic in the Bible one scripture at a time. Let’s get back to today’s study topic!
In the book of Psalm, the 118th division, the writer writes in the spirit of the Lord that all nations compassed me about. This is to say, all nations surrounded me, or all nations encircled me.
It is simple for us to believe this is a story about the king David, who was in battles most of his young life and rulership.
But the latter part of the chapter ends this train of thought for us, because it undoubtedly points to the Messiah of God, who is commissioned to have power over the nations, and rule the nations with a rod of iron.
The writings continue forcefully saying, “But in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.” No matter how the nations compass or surround the Lord, in the name of the Lord He will destroy.
Although they surround the Lord like bees, He will still destroy evildoers and sinners or rebels. We can confirm that this is the Lord because later in the same chapter, it is written, “the Stone which the builders refused is become the head Stone of the corner.”
It is also the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in the eyes of the righteous. The day the Lord has power over the nations, it will be a day the Lord has made, and we all will rejoice and be glad in it.
We all who are in right-standing with the Lord will have added reason to rejoice and be glad, which we’ll find out as we continue through this study topic series on Power Over the Nations.
