Welcome back to Bible Study Ministry, here today we are continuing our daily wisdom postings, and we are reading over a few good verses to consume and digest as our spiritual foods for today! Wisdom is the principal thing, and with all your getting get understanding! God bless you this day! It is not everyday people get to study the Word and dig down into what the scripture is teaching us for our every day lives. This is why reading the proverbs are very essential (they are to me at the very least)!
Daily Wisdom Bible Study – The Hope of Unjust Men Perisheth
7 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
The Hope of Unjust Men Perisheth
When the wicked die, his expectation to become part of the God-family perishes. Why, because he or she was wicked and against God. Unjust men perish, there is no hope for them when they die. The righteous are not that way. When the righteous die, there is hope of an expected resurrection into the family of God.
8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
An earnest righteous person will be delivered, by their faith. The wicked will replace any evil that was headed for the righteous!
9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
A hypocrite says one thing and does another, or vice versa. Therefore, through their own mouth they will destroy themselves. On the other hand, the just use what they know to be delivered. The most important knowledge the just have is the knowledge of the Almighty.
10 When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.
Look at a people and see if there is rejoicing and shouting. If there is, this means it is going well and the wicked are perishing.
11 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
Many times in the old days of the children of Israel, when a righteous king reign, the king would set the country up right and give the people the right things to behold and do. However, when wicked kings ruled, the city was normally overthrown by their enemies. This we must adhere to for our own admonition.
