Welcome to BibleStudyMinistry.com, an online Bible Supplement Source; today we have wisdom scriptures, The Reaction Of The Wicked At The Triumph Of The Righteous.
Here is Wisdom:
When the wicked are taken down, then the righteous will stand with a great amount of boldness in the face of those who afflicted them. They will be very bold to those who did not give them wages for their labor. When the unrighteous see it, they will be gripped with overwhelming fear, utterly shocked by the unexpected way the righteous is saved—a way so extraordinary, it far exceeds anything they ever imagined.
As they feel regret and groan in deep anguish, they’ll think to themselves, “This is the one we used to mock and scorn, the one we made into a joke and a target of our insults.”
We were such fools to think his life was nothing but madness, his rituals, and that his end would be without any honor. How could we have been so wrong? Now he’s counted among the children of the Almighty, and his place is with the saints!
We went astray from the path of truth, and the light of righteousness never reached us. The dawn of justice never rose for us. We exhausted ourselves chasing after wickedness and destruction, wandering through barren deserts with no clear path. But the way of the Almighty?
We never knew it.
What has our pride ever gained us? And what real good have our riches and boasting ever brought?
All those things have vanished like a fleeting shadow, disappearing as quickly as a messenger racing by. Like a ship cutting through the waves—once it’s gone, no trace of its passage remains, no mark of its keel in the water. Or like a bird flying through the air—there’s no evidence of its path, only the brief disturbance of the wind as its wings beat.
But once it’s passed, the air shows no sign of where it went. It’s like an arrow shot at a target—it slices through the air, but the air closes up behind it, leaving no trace of its path. In the same way, as soon as we were born, we began our journey to the end, with no sign of virtue to show for it, consumed by our own wickedness.
The hope of the wicked is as fleeting as dust blown away by the wind. Yes, it’s like thin froth swept away by a storm; like smoke scattered by a strong wind, disappearing just as quickly as the memory of a guest who stayed for only a day.
But the righteous live on forever.
Their reward is with the Almighty, and they are always under the care of the Most High.
That’s why they’ll be given a glorious kingdom and a beautiful crown, handed to them by the Almighty. He’ll cover them with His right hand and shield them with His mighty arm.
He’ll don His fierce jealousy like a full suit of armor. And turn the creature itself into a weapon to strike down his enemies. He’ll wear righteousness like a breastplate and true judgment like a helmet. He will make holiness His invincible shield. He’ll sharpen his fierce wrath into a sword, and the world will join him in battle against the foolish.
Then, precise thunderbolts will strike out, shooting from the clouds like arrows from a perfectly drawn bow. They will their target with deadly accuracy. Hailstones, charged with wrath, will be hurled like stones from a sling.
The sea will rise in fury against them, and the floods will mercilessly drown them.
Yes, a powerful wind will rise up against them, blowing them away like a storm. In this way, wickedness will devastate the entire earth, and corruption will topple the thrones of the mighty.
