Narrow is the Way
Number Twenty, in our lifestyles biblical principle series, is for us to recognize and/or remember that narrow gates with few people in them are probably life generating gates. People are often deceived that the longer the line, the better the thing is.
According to sciences and the great Master and Owner, the contrary is true. The library is less visited than the nightclub, engineering events are less visited than popular sporting events. Vegetables are less eaten than sugary snacks and sweets.
The line just doesn’t wrap around the block for broccoli bites just yet. It does for Popcorn-chicken bites. However, the less attended thing or event, in this world, is more than likely very good for us, and the heavily attended things usually lead to destroying oneself.
Wide More Than Often Leads to Destruction
Be it with health and nutrition, new age sciences, and even spiritual matters. The gates to destruction are wide, and many people tend to go there, the gate that leads to life is narrow, and very few find it.
It is like that in all walks of life, if we take the time to pay attention to it in detail and in the everyday things we find ourselves in. Next time you’re out and about, take a look at the things and places around you.
Look at what meets people’s eye, where they line up at, what they are signing up to do. Look at the bulk, the numbers, and you’ll find that people congregate typically around things that are not good for them. These things are often marketed as the “thing.” Let’s not always jump on fads and super trendy things without examining its usefulness, righteousness, and holiness for us.
