This verse, the ALMIGHTY commanded for a firmament to be made. It was made in the middle of the water to separate the waters from the waters! This is amazing! The firmament is known as Heaven; the ALMIGHTY has an ocean and He used the firmament to separate or divide His waters from the waters that will be for the earth!
