Here is a quick nutrient for your spiritual nutrition today … God formed the earth to be inhabited. He formed it to be inhabited.
A carpenter (like Jesus) does not build a house for it to sit there and for people to just aw and beauty at it.
A carpenter (like Jesus), builds a house for people or something to dwell within it. In Isaiah chapter 45, God makes this perfectly clear. There is no climbing off the earth to dwell in Heaven.
He Formed It to Be Inhabited
There is no “going to heaven” to be with the Lord. However, there is the Lord coming to the earth to be with man, His creature.
Isaiah 45 says …
18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.
God created the heavens, God formed the earth and established it, and we are proof of that today. GOD formed it to be inhabited. This is our house people. We may get it updated, but this is where we will dwell and inhabit.
