Back in the old days kings and rulers, at least in really civilized nations, did not just focus on the secular side of their kingdom. Kings and rulers also got into philosophy theology science and the most important subject the name of the Creator.
In the story of the queen of Sheba, she heard of people speaking so often about Solomon of Israel that she wanted to go see for herself what he was all about and what his kingdom or his nation was all about.

If we use our imagination just a little bit, we would understand that Israel, in the time of Solomon, were really just beginning to blossom into a great nation.
Old kingdoms such as the original Babylonian, ancient Sumer, Egypt had been around for ages, so when Israel began to blossom and be become magnified in the national light through David and Solomon people wanted to what the hype was really about.
Concerning the Name of the Creator
The queen of Sheba came up to Solomon concerning the name of the God of Israel and she came to prove the rumors she had heard about Solomon with very difficult questions.
While we do not know what the difficult questions were, we do know Solomon told her all her questions, meaning he answer them all, and there was not a thing Solomon did not tell her or answer for her.
Can you imagine questioning a people or questioning a person with all of your most difficult and intelligent questions and they answer every single one? This is what Solomon did. Solomone was someone who was armed with the wisdom of God.
Concerning the Name of the Creator
There hasn’t been one like him since as he was the prototype or the example of what the entire nation of Israel was set out to be.
This reminds me of shining your light. Solomon certainly shined his light and it was such a bright light it attracted some of the richest and brightest minds in the world at that time.
This is what we as Christians are supposed to do today, study so that we can attract all the world to us concerning the name of our God.
