Is the Levitical Priesthood and the Kingdom of the Almighty something of relevance today? Welcome to BibleStudyMinistry.com, an online Bible Study Supplement Source, let us supplement our spirit today with this revamped lesson.
The original study was written in 2018, I emailed to our newsletter yesterday and realized it needed some dusting off. If you read both, tell me which is better and which has more clarity to it.
The Levitical Priesthood was set up as a schoolmaster to lead us unto the Anointed Prince of Juda, sent to us from the Almighty Everlasting Father (Galatians 3:24). The practice of the Levitical priesthood was to show us the method the Great Creator will and has used, to reconcile man back to his Everlasting Father.
The Order of Melchizedek
Once man is reconciled back to his Everlasting Father, then his Everlasting Father can continue the original purpose for man, which is dominion, governance, and mastery of the earth. We must keep in mind that, originally, there was no priesthood. Once Adam sinned and Cain and both their offspring began to walk in sin, a priesthood was started.
It began with Seth or Seti in Genesis 4, verse 26; then men began to call upon the name of the Almighty. Adam was the first priest trying to do away with the sinful nature of man and mankind on the earth.
After Adam repented, he was anointed to teach his sons the path of righteousness. The order Adam was under became known as the Order of Melchizedek. Adam passed it to Seth, Seth to Enos, on down from the Genesis 5 descendants until it reached Noa. Noa passes it to Shem, and Shem passes it through the lineages to Abram.
A Kingdom of Priests
The symbol for this priesthood is represented by the Bread and Wine. In Genesis 14 that is what Melchizedek brought to Abram after the battle of the kings (Melchizedek was Shem). The rest of the sons of Noa were into different deities and had their own priesthood. This is why Abram was separated from them. The rest now falls in place for you; Abram passed the priesthood to Isaac (Isaaka), who passed it to Jacob (Akobe), and Akobe has twelve sons.
The sons continue and collectively as a nation the covenant with the Almighty Creator in a separate covenant. This covenant made the entire nation into a kingdom of priests and a holy nation (see Exodus 19:6).
However, the responsibility was too much and they asked Moses to speak to the Great Creator and they would hear Moses. Then they really dropped the ball by making the golden calve and celebrating the gods of Egypt.
Levi the Lawyer
So just like in the beginning with Adam, a priesthood was created to teach the people and recover those who went and followed the way of Cain. In the same way, the priesthood was started to help people keep the Everlasting Father’s commandments and law.
The Almighty commands Moses to number the firstborns of the nation which were His and He would trade them for the entire tribe of Levi (Lawaya or Law-Ya). From the tribe of Levi, the Almighty chose Aaron and his house to become the chief priest to conduct the ordinances the people so desired. Mind you, the Almighty is telling Moses to do this because the people wanted it so. This priesthood acts as a schoolmaster or recovery process to teach everyone about the bread and wine.
In order to complete the recovery process, the Everlasting Father created the scapegoat for mankind. This was because there was not a man clean enough to be the scapegoat.
Somebody Has to Die
The Great Creator’s word does not come back void. Unfortunately, and yet fortunately at the same time for man, He spoke something in the beginning and was obligated to keep His word.
See Genesis chapter 2:17, But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The Eternal Father told His son Adam, the first man, that he would die if he ate of the forbidden tree. Adam ate and the Eternal Father was compelled to fulfill His own word. The man had to die, man and mankind have been dying since, and “a man” had to die.
Sin Offering and Scapegoat
The second man Adam took on such death for all man and mankind (1 Corinthians 15:45,47). The Anointed Prince of Juda became the scapegoat (it’s even deeper than this). The scapegoat concept is not a new one. The scapegoat is the one who takes the blame for another. There is an example of this in Leviticus chapter 16!
Leviticus 16:10, But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the Almighty, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.
The high priest of the house of Akobe among the sons of Levi, took two goats on the day of Atonement. One he presented alive before the Almighty Creator and the other was let loose into the wilderness. The alive goat represented Adam, the House of Akobe, and especially the Anointed Prince of Juda in His resurrected form. This goat was presented alive before the Almighty Creator.
Propitiation for Sins
This is the goat left alive, he is the scapegoat. The other goat was killed before the Almighty Creator; he is the sin offering. The goat killed also represented the Anointed Prince of Juda as he died because of the sins of man and mankind.
The Sin Offering
The Anointed Prince of Juda was both the sin offering to forgive the sin or rebellion from the beginning. He also took the sins of man as His own. Therefore the Anointed Prince was also the scapegoat. When people ask, who rebelled against the Heaven Kingdom?
Yes, it was Lucifer-turn-Satan, and billions of people have followed him, but the scapegoat takes the fall. The Anointed Prince from the Almighty Creator took the fall. Why? He became the scapegoat. He did this not only especially for the house of Akobe but for the entire world. As is written in 1st John chapter 2:2, He is the propitiation for our sins: not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
The Holy Anointed Prince from the Everlasting Father was and is our propitiation for sins. Neither the house of Juda nor the children of Akobe were able to keep the Everlasting Father’s ways circumspectly. They had even fallen from fallen grace.
The Leaders are Now the Tail…
Their plight left the world in shambles because they were the elders, the priests, the starting lineup (if you will) of ambassadors of the Great Creator. The children of Akobe, as a family, were adopted by the Eternal Father taking on His name. Still, disobedience and sin ruled in them and yet ruined them and kept them from performing their Holy-given duties.
Their result was the same as was for Adam, the Almighty spoke enrichments and curses against the children of Akobe. The Almighty, once again, was held to act on His word. This sent and left the house of Akobe in captivity, and as they were left in captivity in all countries of the world, the remnant of this house, became colonized there by the Greeks and Romans.
It was during the Roman colonization of Juda and Jerusalem, there came the Anointed to perform one last gesture. His work or gesture was to redeem man and restart the works of the Kingdom. This work and gesture ended the Levitical priesthood and restarted the Melchizedek Priesthood.
Melchizedek Over Levitical
The practice of the Levitical Order is still useful because it was and is a schoolmaster. We just do not need to shed the blood of bulls and goats because of the Anointed Prince. Also, the Everlasting Father never required bulls and goats because the could never remove sin.
I pray this has educated your comprehension of this topic. The Levitical Priesthood and the Kingdom of the Almighty go hand in hand and in the Millenial Reign of the Anointed Prince and the Children of Akobe, you’ll see pieces of it still being operated.
