Here is Wisdom:
I am also just a mortal man, like everyone else, descended from the first human-made from the earth. In my mother’s womb, I was formed into flesh over ten months, growing from the seed of man, shaped by the natural process that comes with sleep. When I was born, I took my first breath of the same air we all share and landed on the earth, just like everyone else.
My first sound was a cry, like every other newborn. I was wrapped in swaddling clothes and cared for with all the attention a baby needs.
No king has ever had a different beginning to life. We all enter the world the same way, and we all leave it the same way. That’s why I prayed, and discernment was given to me; I called upon the Almighty, and the spirit of wisdom came to me.
I valued her more than scepters and thrones…
…and considered riches worthless compared to her. I didn’t compare her to any precious stone, because all the gold in the world is like a handful of sand next to her, and silver is like clay. I loved her more than health and beauty, and chose her over even light itself—because the light that comes from her never fades.
With her, all good things came to me, and countless riches were in her hands. I rejoiced in everything because wisdom led the way, though I didn’t realize she was the source of it all. I studied diligently and shared her freely; I don’t keep her riches hidden. For she is a treasure that never runs out, and those who embrace her become friends of the Almighty, praised for the gifts that come from true learning.
The Almighty has allowed me to speak freely and comprehend what’s been entrusted to me. It’s He who guides us toward wisdom and directs the wise. We, along with our words, are in His hands—just as all wisdom and knowledge of craftsmanship are.
He has given me deep knowledge of the world around us…
…like comprehending how the world was made and how the elements work. I know about the beginning, the end, and everything in between. I’ve learned about the changing paths of the sun and the shifts in seasons, the cycles of years, and the positions of the stars.
I comprehend the nature of living creatures, the fierce instincts of wild animals, the power of the winds, and the thoughts of men. I’ve studied the variety of plants and the healing properties of roots. Whether it’s hidden or out in the open, I’ve come to know it all.
Wisdom, the force behind all creation, taught me.
She has a spirit that is holy and unique, yet multifaceted—subtle, vibrant, clear, and pure. Wisdom is straightforward, unharmed by anything, and full of love for what is good. She acts quickly, without hesitation, and is always ready to do good. She is kind, steadfast, reliable, and free from worry. Wisdom possesses all power, watches over everything, and moves through all experiences, pure and with the most subtle of spirits.
Wisdom is more dynamic than anything else; she flows through everything because of her purity. She is the breath of the Creator’s power, a pure force streaming from the glory of the Almighty. That’s why nothing impure can ever touch her. She is the radiance of the eternal light, the flawless reflection of the Creator’s power, and the embodiment of His goodness.
Though she is one, she can do everything; while remaining unchanged, she renews all things. Across all generations, she enters into holy souls, making them friends of the Almighty and prophets.
The Almighty loves only those who live with wisdom.
She is more beautiful than the sun and surpasses all the stars. Even when compared to light itself, she comes first. For after light comes night, but darkness will never overcome wisdom.
