Leviticus Chapter 13 Summary: Chapter Summaries

Leviticus chapter 13 summary is again about cleanliness as God spoke to Moses and Aaron concerning skin ailments. The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron regarding men (and women) who had a rising flesh, scab, or bright spots on their flesh.

This would be similar to the plague of leprosy visually. If they did, they were commanded to see Aaron or his sons. The priest would exam the flesh and declare if it was clean or unclean.

The priest would often shut the person up in-house for seven days and then look at it again to make a pronouncement on the condition. They were looking to see if it was unclean leprosy or not.

Leviticus Chapter 13 Summary

Unclean leprosy is the one that looks really bad and spreads just as horrific. The clean leprosy is the lightening of the skin. It doesn’t affect the next person nor makes one totally ill.

The same process of checking for the clean or unclean leprosy took place for the man who was balding. The balding man or hair that had fallen from his forehead was another concern for the priesthood.

They would have their hands full in this generation. This chapter described the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment, house, or skin. And this is the summary of chapter 13 of Leviticus, glory to Honor.
