Power in the Voice of the LORD

The Voice of the LORD is upon the water

As many of you know (our routine readers), I read the Bible daily every morning and some days I feel like sharing, and some days I just take it from God as sound wisdom and knowledge. Today, I was reading on the nines; I read Psalms chapter twenty-nine and some highlighted me to talk about it. It says in verses four and five (even verses seven through nine) that there is POWER in the voice of the LORD.
We can go out to the lake or ocean and listen the waves and the roar and get a glimpse of the voice of the LORD, or we can listen to the sound of thunder during a thunderstorm and hear the voice of the LORD. We know that those sounds are scary at times, but really they are powerful and full of majesty. But just think, who with their voice can divide a flame of fire; one with POWER.

Who has heard the voice of the LORD before? The real voice we are talking about is the voice that invites you to dine with the LORD. In Psalm 95 v7-8 it says:

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

The old children of Israel actually heard the voice of the LORD speaking from the mountain giving the Covenant to them. Today, we hear the voice of the LORD through our mind as we open up to GOD’s truth. The Lord will then come and sup with us showing us the secrets of this world through HIS Word.

Some of the LORD’s secrets surround the fact that many of today’s top leaders, politicians, pastors, and prophets are spiritually drunk or in a deep sleep. The words in the Bible are sealed to them and it is like the Bible is sealed to them or that they are uneducated and cannot read. This is a major reason the world is in the shape it is in currently and why Christians have so many denominations and spiritual views (yet carry a Bible to church every week).

Reading the Bible and knowing the content within it is your guide to everlasting life if you can keep and do what it says. Be careful of the leader you are following; they may be one of those that the LORD Jesus did not send (Jeremiah 29 v4-10). Trust the Voice, there is POWER in the Voice of the LORD, and the Voice of the LORD is HIS Word (St. John 1 v1-2).

God bless you today in the mighty name of Jesus
