Message to the World: Ye Shall Certainly Drink

EVERYBODY… DRINK UP! That’s what a friend of mine said when he sign a nice deal overseas, he was happy and wanted to toast and share. Ironically, this is the same phrase the God of Israel used towards the world, but it is not as positive!

In today’s scripture of relevance, I was in Jeremiah chapter 25. In this chapter, the Most High sends the prophet Jeremiah to prophesy to the leaders of the world concerning Babylon’s world domination and takeover.

Message to the World: Ye Shall Certainly Drink

The Most High was giving power to the Chaldeans aka the Gentiles, through King Nebuchadnezzar, and was giving all nations fair warning to get ready to serve Nebuchadnezzar and his sons peacefully or they would be rooted out of their land.

Message to the World: Ye Shall Certainly Drink

After seventy years, the Most High would brutally put down Babylon (these are 70 spiritual years). In this, the God of Israel is commanding all to drink the wine cup of fury from His hand. This is the same cup you can read about in Revelation chapter 17. This wine cup is to be given to all nations!

15 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

16 And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

Jeremiah did as he was commanded and took the cup to all nations he was commanded.

What if they refuse?

The Most High is not trying to hear none of this …

“I’m not thirsty,”
“I don’t drink wine…”

or

“no thank you, I’m fine!”

..

.

DRINK UP NATIONS!

28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

Why is the Almighty forcing all nations and people to drink of the wine cup of fury?

29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.

The God of Israel brought evil on the city called by His name, upon His own people, and do we honestly believe God will allow others to blaspheme Him and be utterly unpunished? NO!

God Almighty will call for the sword to be upon all the inhabitants of the earth, therefore, gird yourselves in this Word today and clean up your households, so the sword can passover you and your household!
