I Will Give Children to Be Their Princes: Look and behold, the LORD, the LORD YAHAWAH of hosts will take away from Jerusalem and Judah the stay and the staff. The whole stay of bread and the whole stay of water.
He will also take away from them the mighty man, the man of war, the judge, the prophet, the prudent, and the ancient. The captain of fifty will be removed, and the honorable man, the counselor, and the cunning artificer; even the eloquent speaker will be removed from Jerusalem.
In place of these, I will give children to be their princes and babies will rule over them. The people will be oppressed by their own people and their own neighbors. The child will behave so proudly against the elders, and the lowest of them will disrespect the honorable.
Judah is Fallen
A man will grab hold of his brother from his father’s house and declare him to rule over the family simply because he has nice clothing still. At that time he will swear to say, ‘I will not be a healer because I do not have bread or clothing in my house; do not make me a ruler of the people.
If you don’t get it, Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen. It has fallen because their mouth and their actions are against the LORD, provoking the eyes of His glory. The look on their faces does witness against them.
They declare openly their sin, just like Sodom; Judah does not hide their evils. The Judahites have rewarded evil to themselves in this. Destruction is waiting on their souls! They say to the righteous that all will be well with them because they eat the fruit of their doing.
The LORD Will Enter into Judgment
Destruction and woe to the wicked; it will be ill with him because the reward of his hands will be given to him. As for My people, children are their oppressors and women rule over them. O My people, those who lead you cause you to error in your ways.
They are causing you to destroy the way of your paths. The LORD ALMIGHTY is standing up to plead and judge the people. The LORD ALMIGHTY will enter into judgment with the ancients of His people and with the princes; because they have eaten up the vineyard.
The spoil of the poor is all in their houses and they do not care. What do you mean by beating My people to pieces and grinding the faces of the poor to powder, says the LORD ELOHIM?

There is nothing like a plea for justice and judgment. Isaiah is pleading with the children of Israel to do better. In their greed, they haven’t even noticed the LORD ALMIGHTY has removed so many things from them as a nation.
They lost out on the mighty man, the man of war, prophet, honorable man, and the counselor. They’re having so much fun sinning, they haven’t even noticed it. Worse than this, the natural order of things has been upended with them.
The cute little baby in the picture is ruling over them; women rule over them. Find the people who always have kids, celebrities, and women fighting their political, social, and financial woes, and you’ve found the children of Judah.
The good news is that the LORD ALMIGHTY will stand up and plead for the poor, needy, fatherless, and widow soon enough. What are your comments regarding Isaiah’s prophetic words here in the first half of Isaiah chapter 3?
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The disciples asked, “Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?”
