Reframe: the Evening and the Morning

the Evening and the Morning

Out of nothing God made heaven and earth. This was in the beginning when the earth was idle, void, and without form. Darkness covered the depth when the Spirit of the Lord moved upon the face of the waters.

God said let there be light and it was so. And God saw the light was good and parted the light from the darkness. God called the light day and the darkness was called night. The evening and the morning consisted of the first day.

God then said Let there be a firmament, a vault of the heavens made in the middle of the waters. Let it divide the waters above from the waters beneath. So God made the firmament and parted the waters that were under the firmament, from the waters that were over the firmament. God called the firmament the heavens. The evening and the morning were the second day.

Green Grass on the Third Day

God then said Allow the waters under the heavens to gather themselves into one place to allow the dry land to appear. And it was so; and God called the dry land, earth. The gathered waters were called the seas.

God saw that it was good and then commanded the earth to bring forward green grass. In addition to the green grass, God called for the earth to produce herbs with seed, and fruit trees making fruit by its kind. The seed of the fruit would be inside the fruit; it was all done as commanded.

The earth produced grass, herbs yielding seed by its kind, and trees making fruit. Each fruit had the seed of its kind within. God saw that it was all good; the evening and the morning completed the third day.

The Two Great Lights

God then commanded for lights to be placed in the firmament of the heaven. They were created to divide the day from the night. They were and are also for signs, times, days, seasons, and years. These lights shine in the firmament and lighten the earth.

It was all done as it was commanded by God. Of these lights, God made two great lights; the larger and greater of the two great lights ruled the day. The smaller or lesser ruled the night. God also made the stars and placed them all in the firmament of the heaven so they should shine on the earth.

They were to rule over the day and night and divide the light from the darkness in the earth. God saw it was good and the evening and morning made the fourth day!

Animated and Moving Souls

As God moved into the fifth day, God commanded the waters to abundantly produce the moving creature that has life. Additionally, God created the bird that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

God also created the great whale and each living soul, animated and moveable. The waters brought them forward abundantly all after their kind, even the winged bird, came after its kind. God saw that it was good.

God then blessed them and commanded them to become fruitful, to multiply and fill the waters in the seas. As for the birds, they were to multiply in the earth. The evening and the morning became the fifth day.

the Evening and the Morning was the Sixth Day

And God then said Let the earth produce the living soul of its kind, of working beasts. These were cattle, creeping things, and unreasoning beasts of the earth all after his kind. It was all so! God made the unreasoning beasts of the earth by their kinds, also the working beasts, and the creeping beasts of the earth.

All were after their own kind, and God saw it was good. Finally, God commanded We will make man patterned after our image and likeness and he will be sovereign to the fish of the sea. He will also have dominion over the birds of the air, and to the unreasonable beasts of the earth.

The man will rule over each creature, to each creeping beasts that creep on the earth. Thus God created man in the image and likeness of God, out of nothing God made the man to God’s image. God made them male and female and blessed them.

Rule This Earth…

God commanded them to be fruitful, to multiply, and replenish the earth. Mankind was commanded to subdue the earth and have sovereignty over the fish of the seas, birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

God told the man that they have been provided by God every herb bearing seed in the earth. They have been provided all trees that each has in them, the seed of their kind that may be for them food to consume.

Mankind has also been provided by God the same herbs for food for all the living beasts of the earth, the birds, and everything that moves. Every living soul can eat. It was all done. God saw all the things that were made and it was very good. The evening and the morning consisted of the sixth day.
